Hi, I'm using Nero 6, and I'd like to record a liver Audio Performance. I saw that Nero adds 2 seconds interval between tracks, so the audio will be awfull!
I try to set them all in 0 seconds, but a received a warning window saying I can't set it that way on the first track.
This is the correct way to record that type of audio Cds ? I don´t want to burn lots of CDs trying to do this.
Thanks !
Audio CDs must have a gap before 1st track, but this shouldn't be a problem for you. Besides this you might have a (small) problem because audio is stored in bocks á 1/75 seconds (= 588 samples) on audio CDs. If the files you're going to burn don't fit in this, you'll get (very small) gaps with Nero, no matter what you do. If this is a problem for you, you'll have to use a wave editor to cut/paste the tracks to get track lenghts that are multiple of 588 samples - or use a burning software that is capable of correcting this automatically. (I know this exists, but I can't remember which one right now - could be WavLab.)
Quote:If you edit the files and get WAVs without silence, then Nero will cut the last samples of every track because it works like that. The size of the files must be multiple of a CD-DA sector (588 samples) if you want to burn them in Nero without losing anything.
Feurio offers two options:
- fill the last sector with silence, like most burning programs (except Nero, which deletes samples instead of padding with zeroes).
- fill the last sector with the music of the following track = gapless sound.
Select "Do not insert pauses between tracks" Setting to get this behaviour.
