Greetings all,

Just started to use my EZVi, formatted great, installed kernel great, put on games and songs, everything was working great until I tried to plan Super Mario.
Here's the deal, played the game once, than jumped to another game. Went back to Mew Super Mario Brothers and got an saved game error, it let me try to erase the file on the DS but was unsuccessful. I went to my PC and deleted the saved file. Put back into to DS and game came up with same error.
Should I delete the game and reinstall or is there a patch for this, or an I doing something else wrong?

Your help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Xanth

You need to somehow get a new .sav file and use it for super mario. that's what it did for all my games.

ps make sure you name it the exact name as the rom.

Reinstalled the game, and same problem.
Also having issues with Wall E game, just goes to black screen.
Other games seem to be working.

Any suggestions?

i have this ezVi card, and will try out the games you mentioned, when i have time, to see what happens. in the meantime, did you use the latest firmware?
d/l here, the EZ5 1.90 open beta 8 http://gbatemp.net/index.php?s=e3a5e7ae7...howtopic=133554

edit: i use the above firmware and played new super mario bro to 2nd stage where save is possible. then reset and played wall-e, no problem with game, loads ok. reset and play mario again, load save file ok, able to continue where left off. (use 4gb generic micro sdhc formatted fat32 by pc)

Deleted all files.
Reformatted SD card, with FAT only
(is is OK to use FAT32? for future use?)

Installed kernel 1.9OB8, reinstalled games, seem to be working on older boys unit, now will try the younger boys unit.

For the games I DL games for USA, but sometimes there are multi-version on the same site, is one company better at making the ROMS?

Will post after I do 2nd unit.

Thanks for the help.

Unit 2 seems to be working, will let them try it out after school today.

One other thing I did this time, is I renamed the games and removed the number before the title, don't know if that matters but did it to be safe.

i always use fat32 for 4gb or more cards, works perfectly for me.
dont know about which roms is best, just try one, if dont work so well, try another.
rename the rom to a shorter filename maybe better. maybe ezVi have problem dealing with long file names.
