So is this a computer issue or a personal life issue? If it's a computer issue, it's in the wrong forum.

I also recommend you reformat after you save your valuable data.
When you reinstall windows make sure you have the following install
1. firewall inbd/outbd protection
2. antivirus
3. firefox 3.0 browser (never use internet explorer)
4. use the free returnil program anytime you surf the internet. It will seperate your hard drive from the internet.
Any personal information I store in my computer is always encryted, I only decryt it when I need to use it.

"never use internet explorer"
Everyone in my household uses Internet Explorer and we never got a virus. Also, my dad who doesn't know how to really use a computer finds Internet Explorer simpler than Firefox. So please, there's no need to bash Internet Explorer just because it's from Microsoft. I know it allows all ActiveX portals but still I don't know anyone who got a virus when they used Internet Explorer. I'm not saying it's the best browser, just that it doesn't suck.

Yeah, I have to disagree with the "don't Use Internet Exploder" (sic)
as well.
I have been using it since Netscape 6.0 bombed (Feb 2001, I gave it until the first patch release) and have never had a problem.
I have also supported in a commercial environment as an IT support person as well with little if any problems.
IMHO, there's nothing wrong with IE, It's not bulletproof, but then again, what is?
