I'm new at using the DVD Decrypter program. Under Sources it says no devices detected. I am using a Windows 98 upgraded edition. I have installed the latest version of Adeptec and nero SDK ASPI layers.
Can anyone help me correct this problem or send me in the right direction ?

Have you got a dvdrom installed?

If so, is windows detecting your dvdrom?

If not check jumper configuration, and reinstall, if windows is not detecting it as a dvdrom, then DVD Decrypter may not either........

If windows does detect your dvdrom, then reinstall DVD Decrypter.......

Thanks for the reply, I installed Neros ultimate version 6 and Decrypter is now working fine. Somehow this helped my computer automatically recognize souce and destination. This is a great site, keep up the good work. mac

Glad to hear you sorted it out OK....

Sounds like a possible ASPI problem, that for once Nero actually proved useful.....

Nero's ASPI is all you usually need and you made a good program choice in choosing Nero 6, a very complete and versatile program. All the others are just pretenders to the throne. ;)

LOL.............opinions differ across the forum........

My opinion of ASPI is quite low to be honest with you.........as I do not use it AT ALL........

I just run XP with the ATAPI, and use Recordnow for my burning process.....never fails, never have ANY hang ups or crashing issues with it........and that is down to the fact that ASPI is nowhere to be seen.........

Just my opinion....have a good one..........

Does RecordNow handle any shrinking like Nero Recode or any authoring like Nero Vision Express?
