Inspired by dRD's comment in another thread I would like to say that over the past 7 years (4 since I found AD) I have hacked, burnt, and built my way through all sorts of electronic devices thanks to all of the help here on AD. Please join me in recognition of the efforts and contributions of all of us here on AD by adding your own achievements to this list.
Without AfterDawn I would never have...
Copied my first DVD
Played my first emulator
Hacked my iPod
Built my first computer
Built my first home theater
Copied HD-DVD and Blu-Ray discs
Modded my Wii
Modded my Xbox
Backed up Wii games
Backed up Xbox games
Modded my Xbox HD
And many other software and hardware tweaks and ideas over the years that have made my life easier

Learned that I waited too long to buy a PSP and I'm stuck with the 3000
Been able to help people with what I know
Authored my first DVD
I would get information from forums but never really posted before I found Afterdawn. Although many people say AD is going in the wrong direction, I find it a good place to go to find and give information and help people. I have learned a lot and been helped a lot since I've joined on here, and I hope I have done the same.

Without aD, I would have never:
Found out how to host an RS server, then contribute to the community.
Been able to burn Dreamcast Games.
Gotten help on the countless randon topics I've asked about.
Met half of the people on my instant messenger's friends list.
Known what to do during my hideous insomnia (such as what I'm suffering through right now).
Thanks afterdawn.
As I final note:
"I lost 36 pounds in 3 weeks, thanks to Afterdawn.com! I was so busy posting, I forgot to eat myself to death!" lol
We need Billy Mays to advertise for us, lol.
