Hi. I recently had my xbox softmodded. Was having issues connecting to my Vista PC so upgraded to the latest xmbc dash. Everything appeared to be okay as I could access Vista however now I could not open any music/video files. I checked my xbmc log file in dashboard and saw a few error messages, one was related to the skin.
So, I viewed the skin.xml file and saw that PAL and PAL16x9 was called out. Changed this to NTSC.
Now when I switch on the Xbox the screen goes black after it posts the animation thing.
Tried FTP'ing to the xbox however will not connect

All I want to do is to edit the skin file back as it was and this will fix the issue. Its getting to the file thats proving to be very difficult.

I have tried:
1. Booting xbox with Frostys disk however don't think my xbox can boot from DVD/CD(tried both)
2. Hotswapping HD with PC when playing a game to unlock HDD. Vista can see the xbox HDD however cannot initialize
3. I have a 2nd modded xbox so tried 'hotswapping' HDD's between them and FTP'ing to PC. I could see all the partitions of the 'bad' HDD however FlashFXP could not access the files(access error message).

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
