Netgear DG834 Router - other users on same PC cant access internet - help please..

Ive set a new internet connection upgrading from a speedtouch 330 USB modem to a Netgear DG834 Wireless Router, and connected it to my PC using a Cat5 Ethernet cable, As the Administrator on Vista i can acces the internet trouble free,. however my wifes user account keeps trying to access our old USB connection - saying we're offline. when i try to set up the connection through the Netgear DG834 ethernet connection
(Realtek RTL8101E Family PCI-E Fast Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0))
it doesnt work. Could someone explain how to share this connection on both users, my PC hasnt got an onboard wireless card and i need to use a wired connection. Are there some settings i need to change as an admin? i'm new to this wireless stuff, and i'd preferr to keep our seperate user accounts. thanks guys.
