Many people have said that SOCOM: CA won't work online as a backup, because there is cheat detection and multiple dnas codes, blah, blah, blah. I also heard that the PAL version does work as a backup. Is it possible to get the PAL version and convert it to NTSC and it work as a backup using ESR? But will you only be able to connect to PAL country servers? One last question, I am I just digging into trouble when I could just buy a replacement for $15 at a store?
Messing around with DNAS codes,WILL get your IP banned by Sony.I advise not doing it,but if you still want to,I believe using a reg DNAS patcher wont work.An because of all the Protection they put on CA,I dont condone trying to use a burned copy at ALL online.I say get the real thing!Hell can't be more then 10-15 nowadays anyway.
yes,i have patched a socom pal backup for dnas, and a pal to ntsc screen fix,got online fine.Problem is a)pal's server peak time players was like 20 people, lol,b) you need a login id for pal servers, they get them with thier network adapters, not like ntsc..
