What is the resolution of the original video?

99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

Either your source of video has a problem, in which case it is not easy to fix,
Or you are trying to compress too much.

21min 33 sec long with 704*480 should fit in a DVD-5 without re-encoding.

If you can provide more information about your video source and your process, someone here might be able to help?

no that 21 min was juss one vts file whole video is around 2 hour and 16 mins

i'll try burning the video on dvd and play it on tv and see if it still shows interlace

in dvd rebuilder my reduction ratio was arund 58.6%

i am encoding the video again with CCE and i dont see that green bar anymore but i think HC quilty is little better than CCE for some reason

I?m quite new to DVDRebuilder. So probably I?ve stepped in where I shouldn?t. Sorry?

So Green bar at the right only happens only with HC encoder?
Do you have newest version (0.24 Beta)? Could you check, if you don?t?

(I do not think I have 704*480 source. I?m just curious.)

Thanks

Thanks for your response. I did not meant to hijack the thread, but now I?m interested too.

Regarding the green bar, is it possible that VLC is putting it to fill those space? (Have you tried to play with another player?)
Would you mind to check the size of encoded video (output) of HC and CCE?

(Is this what dialysis1 meant?)

Thanks again.

no its not VLC i tried it with Cyberlink Powerdvd too

dialysis1 was talkin about orginal dvd resulotion. instead of 720*480

it was 704*480...so ya its dvd which is bad encoders is filing that 16 pixel with green bar..
i have allready deleted those video_ts folders i burn the HC one on the dvd works okay

except the green bar which i can live with its not that god movie thats why i burned it on DVD5 instead of DVD9
