Building My First HTPC...Wat else do I need....

I have been wanting to get a PS3 but instead Im leaning towards a powerful HTPC. I want to play my blu-rays and store them as well. I want to be able to hook it up to my LCD ( Samsung LN-T4042H )

Connections LCD has:
HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) 3
RF in 1
Component (Y/Pb/Pr) in 2
S-Video input 2 (1 side/1 rear)
A/V input 2 (1 side/1 rear)
PC input 1
Headphone jack 1

Are these all the things I will need? Or am I missing something? From those specs, what cable do I need to go pc to lcd? Thanks for any help.

Kinsa a noob myself, but why do you have 2 video cards there? Also, you don't have a mobo or HDD.

Oh yea the 3rd link I took off the shopping cart. Im hesitating on either getting a PS3 at $299 new when they lower it or spending $700+ on a new pc. any comments welcomed. Thank you.

Well the ps3 can play blurays and can connect to the tv via HDMI. Look on amazon for HDMI cables, they are so much cheaper than buying them in the store. So if you really only want to play movies and watch tv then i would go with the pc. but if you want to play games id go with the ps3. So it really comes down to, do you wanna buy games for the pc or ps3? the ps3 will probably be better for games because it wont lag like a computer might if its doing too much or a game comes out in a few years.

A motherboard and PSU will help, and personally whilst buying, just get 4GB ram and run Vista (far better for BD playback than XP), you may only use 3.25GB of the ram if using 32 bit OS, but the price has dropped so much it's not worth getting 2gb anymore.

Thanks for the replies and BigDK. I have my ram at 2gigs. I have my pc built. With the hardware listed at the top. I have been having problems viewing the movies. I get choppy picture and greenish picture. I ran the BD advisor and told me I needed to update my driver. So I updated the driver...now when I try to watch a Bluray movie PowerDVD 7.3 closes. I also have Powerdvd9 deluxe and that one says its an unsupported format for when I try viewing blurays. Please if anyone could help me I would really appreciated. :) Thanks.

Deluxe doesn't support BD discs, only Ultra. you may be able to get a plug-in or will need to use the ultra version instead.

Thanks I will try that out tomorrow (my off day) :( hope that takes care of that because I gave up on it last wednesday. I have not even turned it on because of the frustration.
