I live in the UK yet my speakers (LOogitech X-530) are picking up radio stations from what sounds like Spain and an American republican one... I've looked quite a few times but can't find much help for any similar problems.

I ignored it at first since it was quite quiet and when I needed to I could just drown it out by music (or a solution I found more recently of turning the speaker volume up and PC volume down). However it just seems to get worse and worse.

Do you guys have any ideas of how I could possibly solve this problem?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

I have the same exact speakers and have experienced no such problems, but here are a few ideas based on my system:

1.) If you have any extension cables on the RCA or VGA plug, remove them...some are poorly sheilded. If this is the problem, just go get some better quality extensions.
2.) If you still hear the radio, do you hear it from all speakers? If not, it is probably a damaged or defective wire going to the speaker making the noise. If you hear it from all speakers, then the issue is probably with the big-fat vga-looking cable from the front-right speaker to the subwoofer.
3.) If the issue is on at least 2 channels (both front, both rear, or sub & center), and the problem only occurs when the system is turned on, then the issue is probably with that wire.

-Once you find the problem wire(s), either open the speaker & solder in a replacement wire or wrap the wire in aluminium foil & electric tape, and ground the aluminium foil to the PC case if possible.

I have the same speakers and whilst i don't get free radio reception on mine i do have interference from other bits of pc kit when the volume is on too low. My (lazy) solution is to keep the volume up higher.
On a serious note i often read of problems with people receiving radio stations on their X-530's, for example -

In my case the problem is most likely down to poor cable shielding, made worse my far too many cables all intertwined. I have so much equipment and cabling in too small a space that i can't solve my own issue so i keep the volume up slightly above the level where interference is heard.

I just had to replace a couple of cables on my system...not I know why you are getting radio stations...the cables are not shielded, there are two seperately insulated wires inside the outer cable (good, gold-tipped RCA cables usualy have a center lead with insulation wrapped around. I am going to replace the rest of the cables soon.

The satelites open up easily, just pry of the front with a thin screwdriver or knife & take out two screws.
