i just had a quick chek of the info u gave, and it appears ur system is more than capable. i'm assuming it only happens in this game. which means your memory is not faulty.
it could be worth updating your video card drivers and game. that's all i can think of really

i have suspicion that it's the memory.
ok, i've done some research for you, and my memory suspicion appears to be correct. you say you have 2gb of memory. i hope it's not 1x2GB is it? if it's more than one, then leave 1 in, and take the rest out and see if it works. (basically, test 1 memory at a time to identify the faulty memory) if you have 1x2gb memory then obviously you'd have to purchase another to test it.
Important Note: i have no experience if this will resolve your issue. Proceed at own risk. I cannot be held responsible. Have a nice day :-)
you may want to look at this http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtec...7.mspx?mfr=true

you wont muck it up. i only said all that because inexperienced users risk damaging, and also, the advice required purchase which didn't necessarily resolve the issue. so to be on the safe side, i added the note.
in your case, there is no money related advice and the job is quite easily done :-)

ok , so it's not the ram, it is most likely what microsoft says, drivers. (or both sticks of ram)
where do you get your drivers from? recovery disc? manufacturer's website? or third party?
if you get it third party, i'd recommend
1) make a system restore point
2) uninstall 3rd party drivers and install genuine manufacturer's drivers (from their site or disc)
