Windows Media Player - Scrambled Songs

I have never had a prob with WMP til now. Some how it has scrambled all my songs (the songs playing dont match the name or artist I select).

Also

Sometimes it will start playing the song I want and about 5secs into song it will cut into another song at its midpoint.

What should I do? Should I re-install WMP or delete and re-install my songs?

I am running Vista if that helps. Any assistance with this would be appreciated. Thanks.
