Technically, yes, but due to the low compatibility I don't recommend that.

Just FYI, the slim PS2s can also run games off HDD, it requires you to use one of those use external HDDs.

Ive got a Fat PS2 with the DMS4Pro that I dont use anymore, Ive got a couple of good games and a network adapter.
