Ok, So I want to load my Blu-rays onto my hard-drive and store the originals in the gun-safe. I will end up putting them on BD-R in about 1-2 years when media gets cheaper.

What is the best step by step to do this? I have ANYDVD HD.
Do I (rip video Dvd to hard disk) or (rip to image)?
Is it better to rip to .iso? I will not be playing them on the CPU, just to back-up the originals.

After this process, do I just open imgburn and select Create image file to disc?

I keep reading these forums but get confused by the ffdshow, matroska, and other mux stuff. I just want to make a Exact Copy of the disc even if it is 50gb. I do not want to shrink it.

Either way, it doesn't matter how you rip them. You are going to burn them the same way, using the UDF2.5 file format system. IMGBurn is freeware and can burn to this type... as well as many other newer burning software.

If you have Vista then you already have the UDF driver, if XP you need to download Toshiba's UDF2.5 driver and install.
