This just started happening as of last night.

Place a -R, 4X DVD disk in the driver, launch NERO to make data disc (DVD selected), takes about 12 minutes to go from 0% to 100%, then, it starts over, or appears to anyway..and goes from another 0% to 100%. It is not on read verify, disc verify, etc.....

Any suggestions??

Will check multisession info, but normally, I never checked/or unchecked that so if this is the case, then I'm wondering why it started doing this yesterday.

NO, both multisession and non/multi (finalize) both cause Nero to go to a 2nd stage it appears, is as if only 50% is recorded first (first 100% mile marker), then the 2nd set of data (the rest of the riles) for -R. It also seems to be taking around 40 minutes total.

Also, fwiw, if I use +R, I belive my writer can write at 8x on +4X media, at least that was Nero says and a review on this model said it was one of the benifits.

This doesn't do me much good as all my media is -R right now.

any ideas what could be going on with Nero?
