I use PCI, USB and PCMCIA for wifi. My preference is also PCI.
If you use Linux or might want to use linux in the future i recommend Linksys WMP54G

£25, ouch; i used to buy all mine off Amazon for between £16 and £18 inc free postage. I haven't checked eBay for prices in over a year but just checked Amazon again and they're £20.33 inc free postage.. they were/are very popular cards so the eBay prices might still be high but it's worth having a look-see..
