Hello everyone!

Just wanted some clarification on a few things regarding burning back-ups for my ps2.

First things first, my PS2 is a SLIMLINE SCPH-75001. I'm using memor32+memento and I also have a memory card with Free Mcboot installed on it. No swap-discs or mod-chips.

I downloaded a torrent of the Persona 3 UNDUB version the other day. Unrar'd it to a folder and patched it using the memento disc patcher. Then using a TDK 16xSpeed 4.7GB DVD+R and ImgBurn at 8x speed, I burned a copy.

I used both my Memento and Free Mcboot cards and the PS2 failed to read the disc with both of them.

So right now I'm wondering what's wrong. Is it because I used DVD+R?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

(TL;DR)
I used TDK DVD+R at 8x, is this a bad thing to burn with?

Figured it out. Sorry about this post. I realized that I have to change my booktype on imgburn to DVD-ROM or use a DVD-R. Unfourtunately I can't change my Booktype, so I'll settle for DVD-R.
