I purchased DVD Rebuilder Pro yesterday and need some assistance with all of the settings and the use of supporting software.

I want to burn an exact copy of the original and do not want to delete any extras, etc. I want the copy to be as close to the original as possible, including the quality of the burned DVD.

1. What are the correct DVD-RB settings to use?

2. I'm using a free trial of CCE. Should I purchase CCE for $58.00 or is there something better (I don't mind paying ~ but not too much!).

3. I read somewhere else in this forum that DVD Decrypter is no longer being updated. Which Decrypter should I use?

4. What is the best way to burn the DVD after DVD-RB has done its work?

Any help/suggestions will be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks!

You will never regret the purchase.
1. Just leave the settings at their default for now, they work very well. Just be sure that your back-up mode is set to full back-up as you are wanting to keep everything as is.
2. Use the free HCencoder that is included it works great..
3. Use either DVDFab HD Decrypter for the free route of AnyDVD or DVDFab Paltinum for the paid.
4. Burn to disk using ImgBurn.

Hi,

are you saying you want an exact copy ? If so, then it seems you require a dual layer disc and not dvd rebuilder (onto a single layer disc).

For an exact backup copy, using a DL disc, as suggested by Bryston is the way to go. If you want top quality on a SL disc, then follow Ferg's advice.
