Nokia 1600 suddenly can't recieve

Under the battery it says 1600 b, type RH-65.

Suddenly the phone will not recieve or acknowledge any incoming calls. Perhaps there is some lock code for recieving only that was inadvertently punched in by being bumped around in my purse. That's the only possible thing I can think of.

When I call my cell phone from my land line I hear several normal rings, then the beginning of that series of tones one gets when dialing a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service, then one very long loud beep.

The phone worked just fine in the past, this problem started a couple of days ago and my outgoing call feature is just fine, it's only the incoming that doesn't work, there is no ring, pulse, or record of calls made to this phone when I try the number.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
