Hi
Was wondering if it's possible to connect my The Box Super to a bedroom tv by way of an extra cable.I know it would have the same channel as the main tv but that's fine.

You can split the signal, just get a splitter, why not use your cable provider's box, that way you don't have to watch the same channel.

Another way to get Sky Sports and Movies etc is to run a scart lead from the back of the Box with VCR on it and run it to a Video recorder or DVD recorder. Put the Box on to what ever channel you want to watch in the bedroom (eg Sky Movies)put the Video recorder on to one of the AV channels and from there run the cable from the RF Out to the bedroom.

Done this myself; Option 1 - Use your cable TV providers box (the set top box you got from your provider such as N*L or V1r*1n when you signed up).

Use a splitter such as this:

Put cable feed to "in" then "out 1" to box downstairs and "out 2" to box upstairs. You'll need to run co-ax cable to your upstairs box such as:
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=256

and pop an 'F' plug on the end such as:
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=10447

You'll of course receive whatever channels are in the package you have subscribed to.

Option 2:

Run same type of cable as above but his time with co-ax plug and socket on the ends such as: (plug upstairs end; socket downstairs end)

As Robbiel says, connect box downstairs to a video recorder via standard SCART. Plug your co-ax cable to RF (aerial) out on the video. Put video to AV input your box is connected to, upstairs end into aerial socket of TV (you might want to use an adapter: http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=1626 whereby you can also plug in a standard aerial too)

Tune in your TV and you should see whatever channel the box downstairs is tuned to.

Here's option 3: Instead of running co-ax cable, you could also try wireless remote senders such as: (remote control may or may not work)
