Please help. i have an acer aspire M1610 running vista. Computer froze, could not move mouse. I held the power button till it turned off. When I turned it back on my internet was no longer working. I have contacted my ISP multiple times and they have told me the modem and the connection works. So the problem must be the computer. The main issue, I believe, is under the local area connection, it keeps coming up as a unidentified network. It shows the computer being connected to a unidentified network, but the network is not connected to the internet. I have tried all logical basic solutions (everything hooked up, etc.). The modem and connection worked on my laptop, so they are not the problem. it should say connected under the local area connection, but it only says unidentified network. The people from verizon (my isp) said it might be an issue with the computer's netwrok interface card (network adapter). I think my network adapter is integrated, so generally how much to repair? Thanks
