Ok, i've got a rdr-gx3 dvd, which has a scart cable coming in from the digital tv box (avi plugs at digital box end to scart connection into the input 'LINE3/DECODER' on dvd recorder). The dvd recorder then has a scart connection from the 'LINE1-TV' which connects to the tv at the other end of the cable with avi/s-video plugs.

Problem: sound comes through and I can see the dvd menu on the tv screen, but no video comes through..

I have tried other plugs and even using the dvd recorders 'input 4' instead of 'LINE3/DECODER' and I 've tried using 'output 2' instead of 'LINE1-TV' with no luck... Since the audio comes through fine (I can change channels on digital box and audio changes as per selected channel) I assume it's a setup issue as I have tried different cables with the same result. Additionally I have seen the scart settings in the setup menu and tried a few of those with no result.

Note: The tv and digital box work fine when dvd recorder is not connected.

Anyone setup one of these before of have any ideas?
