Problem with DVD+RW 20X Lightscribe

I had this same problem with a Sony Burner a couple months ago. All of the sudden the buffer level will not stay consistent. I could burn stuff within 7 minutes, now it takes anywhere from 30-45 minutes to burn.

I took the 20X Lightscribe back and replaced it with the same kind, same thing is happening. The model is IDVD20DLS. Anybody know where I can get a program to flash this drive? I flashed drives on my old old one and it worked fine. Unless you guys can tell me the problem!
