Hello,
I have a Digivox-T for about a month working fine(over 100 channels).
Last couple of days channels are breaking up or getting "Scrambled or Bad Channel"
I "factory reset, powered off at back, rescan, emu to on and set default key and exit out let it update" but they are still breaking up
I also seem to be missing alot of channels(get about 70 channels)
I also tried re-downloading the firmware (v3300) and re-scanning but still the same
When i go to manual scan the
level is 83%
Quality 44%
It seems to be freq's 290MHz,298MHz,330MHz not working
Do I need to re-align the aerial or would a amplifier do

hi,
i have digivox T as well
level is 83%
quality is 72%
some times i have the same trouble
maby re-align would help alot
with scrambled channels or bad channel I get that too
but what I noticed was some channels are off till 7pm
but I have that problem with premier channel
do this: let it on for a minute or two to see if it comes in
some times it takes longer
but i would align the aerial again it would help
some times birds land on the aerial as well
just a few points to look at

Cheers tdtd80
I read this on another thread
Intermittent Signal Quality Fluctuations
suse103, problem was the god damn power supply. had read before about this issue but it didn't twig with me over the past few days as the reason for this problem. my psu was only 12V (although I thought I read it could deliver more), swapped it out with an 18V and everything is perfect now. interesting though that the 12V was at times adequate to drive the downconverter.. obviously needs a little more ooomph :) thanks for your help.
Mine is 24DC 350mA Output, is this what you have?
Is it tricy to re-align the aerial.
Would you load up the manual scan screen and move the aerial while watching the signal strenght and quality bars?

this is the one i bought with my box
http://www.bubblesupplies.co.uk/products...-dish)-24V.html
glad to hear you got it sorted.....
as for the aeriel I was lucky I have direct sight to the transmitter
i put it up myself and faced it over there and it worked..
have a look at you neighbours and see which way they are facing ???
just a story:
I had sky through the dish, with 50% strength and 50% quality
and the bar used to go up and down...
but when it rained it used to drop alot and go off
so the better the signal strength and quality the better picture
i suppose you can move the aerial a little to see if it helps
ps... mind yourself on the roof

Cheers tdtd80,
No its still losing connection to some freq's like 298MHz,connects 80% strenght 40% quality then disconnects, connects then disconnects
That quote above was from someone else with same issue as me who fixed it by changing power supply
My power supply is 24V 350mA like yours so maybe its faulty or dish mis-aligned
Strange things is last week they were all working fine

its strange that it was working fine last week for you
I suppose that they are selling so fast that they are making them fast too where quality in their work may be getting low...
if your friends have the set-up bring your box to their house and set it up there ???

Hi tdtd80,
Went and bought a new power supply in town Antiference Pro Series 12V 100mA
Signal now locking and signal quality gone from 40% to 52%
Seems the power supplies we have are not the best
http://www.skywonder.co.uk/product.php?p...00&cat=0&page=1
If you have any more problems with your signal you should get a better one
Thanks for your help
