We belong to Costco and they only sell Sony DVD+Rs & DVD-Rs. Both are made in Malaysia. In the past, we had some bad experiences with Sony media so we stay far away from it. Several months ago we had gotten a 'Free Pass' to Sams Club and walked through their store and noticed that they had several different Verbatim products. They even had 50 packs of DLs for something like $65. Now when I go to their website they only have Verb Inkjet Printable DVD+R 50-packs for $27.38. Has anyone been to Sams Club recently? Do the stores carry more than what is on the website? Can you call the actual store and find out what they have in stock? I hate to join and then find out that they don't carry what we need.

Thanks!

Don't buy the Malaysian/Daxon Sony discs, those are awful. Only buy Taiwan/Daxon Sony, if buying Sony.

I've been buying Verbs from Sam's Club for a few years now; they normally code as MCC004s (MIT) and have been outstanding thus far. Lately they've only had the printables where I live so I'm waiting to stock up again. They usually have a pretty good price on the slimline single cases too if you go that way.

Now Just Printables Except for Mini DVD's & CDR's They Also Have VErbatim DVD+R DL In 50CT tubs But These Are TH MADE IN INDIA ones Not MAde In Singapore That Most Prefer ! Odd that you would have problems with Sony ? I find it My Second to third Favorite brand - Taiyo Yudens , Verbatims , & sony Granted I have stayed away from The Malaysian Made Sony & have used only Made in Taiwan & Made in Japan Sony but Have Been Pleased none the Less !!! , But everyones Setup is different and perhaps your burners simply do not burn well with sony so That's that I suppose? Surely you have friend with whom you could go to Sam's club. See what they have and if you want their media give your friend the money and let him purchase same!

Yeah, you can walk in and look around, you just can't purchase anything without a card. (Hint: hang out in the appetizer aisle, they've always got those little morsels like the mini sausages a-cookin'. Man I love that place. Just make sure if you're shopping in BigToxy's territory that you watch out for those Sasquatch droppings, they're bigguns. Woof!

At least for my Sam's Club, they carry the same Verbs that are found online. On a whim , I bought a few and although the hub is not printable, they are very good. I am down to my last 50 or so and although they are good I pretty much gave up on them once i found some silver printables by PiData which actually read as Ritek G05. I like this since they are pretty good quality wise, when printed on (ink jet) they have a cool reflective effect to them and, especially if you buy in bulk, are cheaper than the Verbs if you buy their 600 DVD deal for 150.00 (no tax or shipping charges also a plus and you get them usually within three to five days). Check them out here http://www.emediadepot.com/Silver_Inkjet...r8x-sih-600.htm

I couldn't take it anymore... So Saturday I joined Sam's Club. I didn't have time to shop so the only thing I bought was the 50-pack of Verbatim DVD+R DLs for around $60. Office Max wanted $40 for a 20-pack as did Best Buy. They are "Made in Singapore" so I should be OK. But we didn't have a problem with the "Made in India" ones. Thanks for all your help! I really appreciate all the responces.
