Hi guys. I think i will start with giving some information on my system. Windows Vista ultimate 64bit & Pioneer BDR 202 which is connected via sata , which a lot of programs don't seem to recognise. I am using powerDVD 9 ultra to watch Blu-ray movies. I would like to learn how to copy my Blu-ray movies to hardrive so i can play them back with powerDVD and also back them up.I have a copy of anyDVD which seems to remove protection & region but i have not worked out what to use to copy the movie to hardrive. anyDVD HD does not seem to install on my system. I have tried a few different programs but have not got anything that works yet. I have a basic understanding of DVD but no knowledge of Blu-ray or it,s make up and file systems. Could you please point me in the right direction so i can get this working and maybe pick up the basics. Thanks.

When you say, "I have a copy of AnyDVD HD" does that mean you have purchased the programme, & it won't install onto your PC? Or you have a copy of the trial version of AnyDVD HD?

If the former, then I don't know: maybe an issue with the 64bit drivers. Normally, with AnyDVD HD, you load a BD disc into the drive, & it loads the encryption removal onto a folder. You then just right-click the red fox in the taskbar & click on "rip video DVD to harddisk". If the fox is a colour other than red, there is an issue.

From there, easiest just to read the guide I wrote posted on this forum.
