Ok, I have a new processor and 4 gigs of ram already installed in my comp, but I want to get a video card now, but I am lost and need some help. It has an integrated video card, and this is my first video card install.

I have PCI express x16 slot, and would like:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130339
that card, or anything close to it that would fit in my computer. It is a HP a6203w Desktop.

My budget is 180 dollars and anything below, and that is NOT including a PSU, I plan to get a corsair 650w or larger if needed.

I hear a lot of people say the good higher end cards are large and I need to measure, but I have looked inside my case, seen a lot of slots, but am kind of lost as to what to measure and where to measure.

If anyone can please help me or direct me to somewhere that could, i.e. bestbuy or office depot, thanks.

The 9800GTX is very old and overpriced for what it is, but I'm not sure if you'll be able to use a card like that depending on whether a better PSU wil fit the system or not.
Assuming one will, get this combination:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161260
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139003
The HD4830 isn't quite as fast as the 9800GTX, but it matches the 9800GT, and you won't do any better on that budget with a PSU included.

Ok, that is good, but I was saying 180 dollars, is the highest I can go for the video card. The PSU unit I already have money set aside for. I wasn't saying 180 for both PSU and video card.

Now, any other video cards you would recommend?

Sorry, my mistake. With $180 available, grab one of these:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102810
They're at least 30% faster than the 9800s.

Ok, Now to my other problem, I open my case up, and I have no idea which one is the PCI express x16 slot, or if there is some other card that needs to come out. I figured integrated graphics, were, well, integrated.

Also, will that card fit you think? Hp a6203w desktop. I am trying to find out what to measure and where to measure to, the HD cage?

I googled your computer and found this...
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/docum...54326〈=en
scroll down half the page and there is a detailed picture of your motherboard showing you which is the PCI_E 16x slot.

take a look around the support website for your machine, you'll find much information...
