Hi, I combined the 2 cd's of Resident evil 2 using ImpalerPSX but when i entered the game title and clicked search, i only found the SLUS-00756 id. But i read that the SLPS-01222 id will work superb.

When i tried to change the ID using Simple Popstation Gui, it said that the combined eboot is not valid.

How can i change the ID of a Multidisc eboot?

there are other small programs that can change the game title and gameid i use one made by aserto called psx gameid changer so if you can't find it on google i could upload it for you though i haven't tested it on multidisc eboots

I've downloaded psx game id change. But when I tried to change the ID of the multidisc eboot, error occurred. It said "Run-time error '458': Variable uses an Automation type not supported in Visual Basic".

well you could either search for other programs of the same type and probably end up wasting your time because most are going to be made with visual basic and give u a similar error or you can spend the time to remake the multidisc eboot again with the same program you used or another that lets you put in the gameid manually regardless of what the search finds, also i assume you are using popsloader since you have seen the compatibility list or did you just find that SLPS-01222 works better from a forum? either way your right about certain gameids playing better and using popsloader certain firmwares make the games run better to so if you need it or want to see the list its in my signature.

That's the same list I looked at. While reading on that list, I came across a program named PSX2PSP. I will try if this makes multi-disc eboots better. Can anyone instruct me how to use this program?

Sorry for the very late reply.

Im using PSX2PSPv13 to make resident evil 2 a multi disc eboot and i think there is something wrong with me or with the program. I just don't know.

When I load the first disc (leon), clicked convert and load claire disc and changed everything: game title, main game id and game id of both disc to SLPS-01222, and save id of both disc. But when I click OK, the game title suddenly changed to bust-a-move 4 and the ID change back to the original one.

Please tell me what am I doing wrong?
