I am noobie i can't seem to find the answer any where if it's been asked a 100 times i'm srry..
is a DVD just basicly a larger storage then a normal cd? can i burn .wav to DVD and the home stero be able to read it? so i can fit more songs in .wav format on a DVD then a cd?

I live in my own little world, but it's OK everyone knows me..

.wav files on DVD can be played back on computers only, I'm afraid. You have some other possibilities, though:

- DVD-Audio: capable player + special software (not free) needed (see high resolution audio forum)
- mp3 DVD: burn a data DVD with mp3 files. Many DVD players are capable of reading them
- DVD-Video with the .wav files used as audio stream (either as .wav or lossy compressed as AC3 or mp2). Can be done with free software, or very easily with DVD+Audio Creator. Playble with any DVD player that can handle writable media.
