Hello guys,
I can't to open some files in Ubuntu, I am getting "application/x-ole-storage" the OS recognizes them as doc files and yet I am still not able to read them. first time encountering this error message. I did a quick search through our forums and the nets with not much success. has anybody else experienced this? any help will be much appreciated.

try abiword ;) they are m$ format... that is if you don't fancy installing the whole open office suite
