How can i get a Region Free DVD

Hi all, i have a DVD movie set to America's region but i am in the UK, how can i easily convert it to a region free DVD, please.

have i asked this question before ?, if so, i did do it succesfully to a few other DVD's several months ago, but being an oldie i cforget how i did it !!!.

Once the disk is ripped to the hard drive using the likes of 'Any DVD' or 'DVDFab HD Decrypter' and burned to a new disk, the region coding issue is removed - the disk will play in a PC burner in any region..

This doesn't sidestep the question of broadcast standards, inasmuch as a Region 1 disk is also NTSC video format - but I understand that in the UK (which uses the PAL standard), standalone players will handle both formats.

thanks for that information buddy.

i have at the moment used DVD Shrink to Back it Up, so wont know know until later tonight if it will play OK on a DVD player connected toa TV, i am not keen on watching DVD's on a PC, LOL.
