This one posed no problem with DvdFab > VobBlanker > DvdRebuilder > Imgburn.

Full disc, with special features.

I first used RipIt4Me one click mode full DVD. Ended up with all those Angle 1 and Angle 2 VTS files 52 GB! I switched to the wizard mode movie and menus and it seemed to work until the final step, VOB cleanup where nothing survived but the menus. I redid it and skipped the VOB cleanup and went right to DVD Shrink. Voila!!!

Is your AnyDVD up to date?

What error(s) are you getting?

Is the disc surface clean and scratch free?

I have tried everything I can think of with Bolt. I have RipIt4Me, DVDFab 5, DVD Decrypter, ImgBurn, FixVTS, and DVD Shrink. Now, when I try DVD Shrink, it takes forever to analyze then when its done, it shows that the movie is freak'n HUGE. I have tried to compress, but can't enough to fit on disk when I was in Full Disk mode. And when I went to Reauthor mode, there where so many to chose from and 2 different angles. EVERY one that I went to, when I went to preview, it started in the middle somewhere...couldn't find on to start at the beginning. I have tried Clonedvd and AnyDVD with no luck also. Is there anything I can do to get this? Would like to have Main Movie w/ anything else, but would settle for just the main movie for now!!!!

Why would you link the guy back to this same thread? Im having troubles too...Gone through 2 dl dvds trying. I get some movie previews and then a scene or 2 of the movie and thats it. Using clonedvd, dvdshrink, anydvd, dvdfab...They all do the same thing. Oh well...might as well buy it. Not worth wasting money on this film.

..because this thread has success stories from people using the 2 main ripping programs ie DVDFab and AnyDVD. I'm guessing you're using a dvd burner to rip ?, not all burners are created equal, some can't read all disks out there. I'm still using my 6yr old dvd-rom/cd-writer combo drive as my main ripping drive. Once in a while the odd movie can't be recognised on my various dvd burners, but will always be recognised by my combo drive.

I can't comment on Bolt yet as here in movie-challenged Britain we haven't even got a DVD release date yet. Not that i can find anyways.

mikieson, because if rental as that is what it appears to be from your post then piracy is not condoned on this site. now do you think it matters?

Seems like you might be singling me out though and that matters. I never said I was pirating anything. Just never gave a direct answer as you never know where its going.

So maybe a link to a thread or another site that will help me cause this one isnt working so far. Thanks

My wife bought bolt this afternoon from Target. I use DVD43 and handbrake usually on an XP/Vista machine with 1.5 TB of space. DVD43 told me everything was good but when I tried to copy it I kept getting errors. I didn't even get it to my hard drive. After poking around it says its like 53gb. I thought this has to be wrong, so I stuck it in my linux laptop and it says its 53gb. I don't understand. Even a dual layer dvd only holds 9.4. Is there a way I can get this to work with my software and how is it possible to have so much data on a dvd?

Hi,

the protection scheme will tell you that the disc holds 53 Gb, but in actuality it is around 5.44 Gb. Just rip with the latest anydvd or dvdfabHD and all will be fine.

Never said I was "pirating"...OH and im not a christian, but I like this saying..

Let no sinner cast the first stone....Dont point fingers when im about 99.9% sure that this whole forum and the hundreds just like it are "secretly" about "piracy". So if you want to call foul...Call it fairly my friend..
