Free MCBoot, PSX burning?

Hi, I have been searching for a day or so now and can't find the exact information i need.

I used the memory card exploit for the PS2 and from what i can understand i need to patch the games ISO with ESR Disc Patcher. I have not tried to do this with a PS2 game yet but i expect it to be almost straight forward. However, I want to do this on a PSX game so i can run it on a PS2. but when i open my file i am left with BIN and CUE and all i get is an error for trying to format it. Can someone please provide me with any info or even a tutorial on on how to burn the PSX backups to work with the memory card exploit?

ESR doesnt work with psx games so that wont work for you. But i really think you should have searched a bit deeper before asking as there are many topics, discussions and tutorials out there for burning backups. Heres one for you click here

Yeah i did search and i found that topic too, I guess the problem is the more i search the more unsure i get. some say PSX games can be converted to DVD and patched with ESR and some say it can't. I can easily burn normal PSX and PS2 games, but when it comes to a PSX and burning it with an ESR patch it never goes too well. I guess that just goes to show it can't be done. But it's nice to be told a definite answer on it though.
