hi there
i recently bought a DSTT card checked it was a legit one before setting it up too. After getting it running on a old [fat] ds and playing some games a few time is had no problem...
I went to turn it on eariler and my ds wouldnt switch on at all i tried to charge it but this didnt help [used 2 different chargers to make sure]. light comes on green then goes off after 1 sec, i looked at some stuff online and read it may be a fuse..not being one for messing with the inside of stuff i decided to borrow my girlfriends NDS lite i stuck my cart in it and nothing the ds refused to power up and hasnt ever since [she was using the DS minutes before so it was working fine]
so this got me really annoyed, and made me think it wasnt the fuse if it happened to both DS. The only thing i can think of causing it would be the DSTT cart somehow...
so if anyone can help me out and get the DS working again id really apprichiate it thanks alot.

DSTT cards can do this - they are drawing too much current so it has blown F2 on the circuit board (it is a surface mount fuse)
Although rare the DSTT has more of a reputation for this than most other carts.

1) No - it is a strip down and replace the fuses, these are tiny and soldered to the board
2) Yes

I've ordered a lot of DSTT's from dealextreme... always genuine, always 100% working order... and DIRT CHEAP to boot! :)
EDIT - not sure if it's true or not, but I was told to always order sku.15613. That's what I always order, and always get genuine!

used to order roms on there on there own and with usb readers, fed up with them not answering emails about returns got money back last time via paypal dispute, currently swapped over to www.focalprice.com they give you points to get money of everything they sell instead of limited free rubbish gifts. same idea as dealextreme same layout and stuff just better manners from the staff same price as well still free shipping, much friendlier site have a look.

Never heard of them... they're probably the same people running both sites... lol
Anyway, I have no plans of leaving dealextreme anytime soon... they've been nothing but good with me. Friendly and helpful all the way so far.
