I currently have the Logitech Wave keyboard and mouse, are there any keyboards and mice specifically for the use of gaming?

Lots. Pick up a copy of EGM or Games for Windows. They're all advertised there.

I love my Logitech G5 mice (I bought two of them!). They make a better gaming mouse; the G9; but it hurts my hand. If you can, go down to best buy and try both of them out.

The G19 keyboard is their latest and greatest gaming keyboard, but they also make a mini-board with 25 keys that is designed to be used with one hand. The miniboard is called the G13. The G15 kayboard used to be a nice unit (it looked like a G11 with a clamshell display), but the new one is scaled back to make the G19 look better.

Unless you play lots of online RPGs or games without teamspeak, I would recomend the G13 mini-board with the G5 mouse. If you do need to type while playing, then you would be better off with a G19 keyboard and a G5 Mouse.

...Of course, there are other laser gaming mice in the "G" line that you might like the feel of more than the G5.

Logitech has become a big company that does not care about it's customers...but they are still better than their competition!

razer > logitech. ive owned both, i current use a logitech g5, but my razer copperhead was my favorite mouse ever. as far as keyboards, i had a g15 and loved it, but it because a hassle to try and manage all the programs i had running for like vent, and winamp, and things like that.

The logitech display software is a bit problematic, and needs to be tuned to work well without waisting lots of resources. If you don't need the display, and just want a nice solid keyboard with some weight to it, you might want to look at the G11.

I love my Saitek keyboard. Had it for a few years now and still glows and types perfectly. Never had any problems with Vista either. I originally had it on my XP computer.
