I am trying to connect my now pc to my HDtv. Ive got a VGA to scart cable, I'm not fussed about quality but after trying to connect the 2 i just get a blank screen. I'm not a genius like you guys so I'm completely stuck.

The other options I've looked at are the converters which cost £40 and upwards which seems a bit much since i only payed £7 for the cable. I ain't cheap but I'll admit I'm a bit clingy when it come to cash. So if there is any one out there who can save me or more importantly my cash please let me know. :)
