Need help with 'Failed to start... SHDOCVW.dll'

When loging in (using vista)
I get the error message The application failed to start because SHDOCVW.dll was not found.

Got a blank background with not bar at the bottom and can use task manager only.

Do not have a Vista CD (didn't come with the laptop)

Also found that my Laptop restarted randomly after about an hour use since I have had the problem. Was not sure if it was related to running MSN messenger or the fact that my battery became fully charged at that point.
Was also scanning with Malwarebytes, AVG, and Adaware all at once.. Found one infection with Malwarebytes (not sure if it was relevant) Computer restarted during this point (when trying to run MSN and battery became fully charged).

Deleted the infection found from malwarebytes. No change.

PLEASE HELP :S THANKS TO ANYONE WHO EVEN TRYS :)
