Alright so I am very upset here. I downloaded an eboot of Final Fantasy VII and then downloaded the pops loader (becuase the first battle glitched) and it ran fine. No glitches or lagging, nothing. I was happy that I got to get the whole story of FFVII (after watching FFVIIAC, and playing Crisis Core) Now I beat disk one and go to disk two and I just beat that this morning. I go into disk 3 and right as soon as I enter the North Cave and go down the ladder, I get into a battle and it crashed. I thought it might have just been at random chance so I tired again and it crashed again.
What should I do?
I have CFW 3.80 M33-5 Phat
I am running a multi disk eboot
Can I download a disk 3 eboot? And it work alright? Or is it possible to change the pops?
Also i do have a save file that is about 2 or so hours behind. So is it possible to just play up through Hojo and then put in Disk 3, then fight Hojo and load the separate disk?

I have ff7 eboot and am using 5.00m33-6 phat with popsloader installed and pops 3.71 being used for this game. I personally am not as far as you but from what I read this configuration allows the game to run from start to finish with no issue. I have not had a hiccup at all since I started
My PSP life since mar 1st 2009 got used psp phat with 3.10-oe>3.40-oe>3.52m33>3.71m33>5.01 OFW no fun>3.71m33-4>4.01m33>5.00m33>5.00m33-6 knew nothing of psp before Mar 1st!!!!

So I should upgrade to 5.0 m33-6 maybe because I am running the 3.71 pops loader ( I think) and if what you have read is correct then it should work for mine unless there is something wrong with the eboot.
So I upgraded my CFW to 5.00m33-6 and I like the new look but the same thing occurs
When I enter a battle and you see the scene swirl, it locks up.
It is probably the eboot then.
BIIIIIIIIIIIIG question. Can I like borrow some one's disk 3 so I can beat the game? I mean I am so close to it...Like upload it with a save file so I can do this? I could care less now about my own file as long as I beat the game.

Maybe you can try pspiso.com and look for mandigo right in the beginning of the eboot section and download his 4 part eboot, install that on your psp and I would imagine your save data would carry over since its the same game??

Im not sure, I mean I heard something about different save IDs. I can try that but I would need a larger mem stick... :\ I only have a 2gb stick. That would be so nice though if I can finish it. Beat the crap out of Crisis and watched the movie a dozen times...to get the full story would be wonderful. thanks though CarlPSP I will try that.
Although when I upgraded to 5.00,33-6, Crisis Core Final fantasy I can no longer save any data. I researched and found that others are having similar issues with the same game and a few other games. Thats messed up becuase Crisis Core is my favorite PSP game so far

I konw this is rather late, but thought I should mention I have now gone through the entire game with no problems whatsoever, have beat all the weapons and gotten everything I can think of, and not had a single glitch.

yeah um you also did not mention what psp you have, nor firmware nor where you got the game from. Mine could be different than yours hence yours doing better than mine.
I am trying some thing different though. I will try this program I found online that takes the actual PS1 disk and turn it into an eboot file. Hopefully this works.

Yeah actually if you look at my very first post of trying to help you it says exactly what I have
"I have ff7 eboot and am using 5.00m33-6 phat with popsloader installed and pops 3.71 being used for this game"
and in my second post
"Maybe you can try pspiso.com and look for mandigo right in the beginning of the eboot section and download his 4 part eboot"
It tells you exactly where I got it from

haha my bad, I was super tired last night when I typed that.
I had issues with upgrading to 5.00m33-6 and so I downgraded to my original 3.80m33-5 and the issues were still there. I decided to go to OFW and upgraded to 5.02 and the issues were resolved. I am waiting for my battery to come in the mail to downgrade to CFW 3.71m33 and will try again. I will not go to 5.00m33-2 ever again

No big man, kinda sucks the issues are still there, I have had some issues with some homebrew stuff but have determined it is not due to my CFW as I downgraded back to 3.71m33 and still had same issues so went up step by step with no change so I figure I would stay at 5.00m33-6.

I dont know, I mean I hope I dont have any issues. If I do well there goes having CFW or I will sell Crisis Core. Crisis Core is my issue, not being able to save anything. That game is my favourite PSP Game ever. Im just waiting on my Battery to come in is all.
