I have Nero 6 (yes I know buy a new version) .. I want to do the following and cant with this so can anyone tell me what software (free if poss) I can use to do the following.

I want to pick all the favourite tracks of the 50 or so music dvds I have and put them on to one dvd to be able to play in my dvd player. Can this be done at all and if so how (in basic terms please).

Thanks

well tried it with the first disc..an Alarm concert gig and said it wasnt a suitable disc or something like that....but will try again. The problem is ripping certain tracks...if I can get it to read the disc...maybe I need to update my nero.

Thanks for the help though

If your source (music video) is on commercial DVD, it may have copy protection on it. You need to rip it first. Try DVDFab (Free version)

Well nearly but not there.

After spending ages uploading the videos, editing them and getting them ready to burn, it burned succesfully or so it told me.
I put it in the dvd player and up came the first track, played wonderfully, then ....that was it....screen went funny and nothing else on dvd.....aarrrgggghhhh

Check playback on your PC. I hope your burnt disc plays ok. Then it would be issues of the quality of burning (media and process) and compatibility (media and your player).

Things you should check and try;
Check your burner?s firmware is Up-to-Date for booktyping and burning speed,
Use media (Use well-known quality media),
Check your media type (I was told that ?R is more compatible. Booktype(bitsetting) for +R media.),
Check your burning speed (I was told to burn half of the media?s rated speed, so 8x for 16x media,
Do not multitasking during the burning process,
Try other burning software(ImgBurn),
Try other stand-alone players (Some players are very picky, especially old one which are not made for recordable media.).
