Now, I figured out to apply the CoreAVC in MPC (right click on screen, click options, External Filters, Add Filter, CoreAVC) This got my picture running ok again but I cannot figure out how to configure SOUND!
When I right click and choose filters, this is what I have:
directsound:Sigmatel audio (my sound card)
Haali's Video Renderer
ffdshow audio decoder
CoreAVC Video decoder
so, I did the same thing with ffdshow to apply sound(options, External filters, Add filters, ffdshow)
The thing is, I have NO idea what settings I SHOULD have ticked to make the sound work, or which ones I SHOULDN'T have ticked that is hindering the sound, etc. I am SO confused! Did I even NEED to d/l ffdshow for sound or can I use something else?
Could someone PLEASE show me EXACTLY WHAT settings need to be enabled/changed in any or all of MPC, CoreAVC, Haali? I don't understand for example, what Internal Filters should be checked or not checked (options, Internal Filters) in MPC?
I just need someone that knows what the h*ll they're doing, lol!
