hi . i have 2 - ps2 slim and fat - i need to connect a hard drive with one of them so - if i go with the slim i will play games by usbextreme with a usb hard drive and if i go with the fat i will play by hdloader with a network adapter and a hard drive -

i am asking you witch way is more faster to play game with and witch program is more Compatibility with the games

( usbextreme or hdloader ) ?????????????????

USBExtreme/Loader/Advance, besides being overpriced (and available for free now), has an abysmal compatibility list and ridiculously long loading times compared to HDLoader/Advance.

The USB route uses the old USB 1.1 ports, which can only transfer data at a max of 12 Mbit/sec (meaning only 1.5 megabytes per second). The hard drives have a much higher transfer cap, which means they'll be able to load games extremely easily.

Anyway, yeah, HDLoader sounds best.

HDloader is definitely the way to go if you can do it. USBExtreme is way too slow with USB 1.1.
