i have a ms 7184 ver 1.0 motherboard it is a compaq desktop pc and i was wondering is there some kind of way i can find what kind of processors i can upgrade to or should i just get a new motherboard and processor.

AMD Socket: 939
Supports AMD Athlon 64 X2 (up to 4800+)
and Sempron (up to 3200+) processors

I have a amd 4800 dual core and it has decent speed, if you want better gameplaying capability just upgrade the video card.
