Is this file conversion problem or uploading problem?

Have you try the format youtube recommend?
Quote:
We specifically recommend the MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format at 640x480 resolution with MP3 audio.

Thank you for replying please look at the formats that Nero ver9 have to offer the export to web doesn't work so I have a choice of
MPEG 2 all audio is stereo all my music is mp3
DVD videocompatible 720x576CCIR-601DI pixel Fast Coding 1 pass 4850kbit
SVCD compatable 480x5762/3D1pixel fast coding 1 pass 2075kbit

HDV HD2 (1080i)1920x1080 pixel fastcoding 31104kbit

MPEG 1
vcd compatible352x288(1/4Di fast coding 1 pass 1150kbit

AVI Intel Indeo video R3-2 320x240 pixelPal25.00fpsAudio no compression 2 channels
WMV Pocket pc video176x144 pixel(custom 15.00fps audio window media

I have exported the video using MPEG 2 with the HD1 and it worked but it won't work this time I am new to all this so I just need a format to follow
The video goes for about 7min and is no where near 1 gb
I really like Nero for editing its very simple just need to get it to U Tube so we can put it on another web site
I have also updated my Nero and the old videos I have made now wont work ???

I still do not know your meaning of ?work? and ?not work?. I assume that you can?t upload. Though can you explain more details what does not ?work??

Have you read this? http://www.youtube.com/t/howto_makevideo

My best bet is MPEG2 or AVI with 640*480 in size. Tough if your intension of uploading is for general public, you may need to consider converting to MP4 format that youtube recommend, which I believe that is the least problem for many users.

I do not know the detail about your source file (before edit) and the output file, size format etc. May I ask about your source file (size, format)?

Try MPEG2(640*480) or AVI (640*480) with Nero.

It may be better to edit the source as you want, and save as same format with Nero and convert to MP4 with other tools.

thank you, yes may have to go that way is there a converting program I could use that you know of. When I download it goes to nvc I edit it and make the movie then have to save it to the file but it is only for nero so have to export it to another file which the options are those I've given you. So I need a converter program I guess ??

Have you try MPEG2 (640*480)? What is your file size of it?
