i burned a game with verbatim 16x dvd-r @2x and 4x speed both didnt work. though the 4x made it to the "PLAYSTATION 2" but for a very long time

Should i ve burned the game at 6x as according to some people it is the ideal for 16x dvd.

Please nid help about this; verbatim 8x dvd-r is out of stock and i cant find decent blank media here other than that

btw my ps2 version is the slimline, one of the first versions of ps2 slim
