Nokia 6300 - does it support .jar files?

My son has a Nokia 6300 and wanted some games for it. I found some in .jar file format but have never worked with them before. Could someone please tell me how I could find out if the .jar format will work with it and if so...how I would install the games on his phone?

Sorry for the ignorance, but this is something totally new to me.
