Hi I purchased a ps2 and I have no idea what modchip it is.

I just know it runs in three modes, Ps2 (Just press the ps2 on button).

PSX Mode(Hold Untill Blue light comes on)

And off mode(Hold untill rainbow swirling lights come on).

I Burned Some ISO's to a Dvd-r Disc at 4X Using, CloneDVD ,DVD Decrypter , Nero, All CD's Give me A Disc Read Error... My ps2 is fine playing burned cd-r's in ps2 mode burned with CloneDVD.

Any help?

Person i bought from said chip was a high quality chip but I Dont really wanna open up my ps2

Maybe it's a problem with the DVD you're using? What brand are you burning to?

Not sure how good those will be. You should use top-quality brand like Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, or Sony brand DVD-Rs. (And you should burn at 4x or 8x, from what I've read.)

There's a DVD quality guide somewhere around here, I believe.

Do type of DVD Burners Matter?

Im using A External Sony One
