Not sure if this is the right place for my enquiry, Mods please move if not.
I currently find myself with a puzzling problem. I have a PC system set up that has a cable modem connected to a wireless router (NETGEAR WGU624) which is then connected via cable to my PC, off of this I am connecting wirelessly, a Playstation 3 which for the past year or so has been used to Stream my Media files Music/Video to my TV, I have also used it to surf the net when my other half is on the PC.
Until the past week everything has been A ok! The other day I went to watch a film through the PS3 and noticed it wouldn't find my Media Program, (TVersity). I have looked at my PC and have noticed in the Network Sharing Centre that my status is Not connected, with the message, " you are currently not connected to any networks" My Network discovery is set to Custom, but My Media sharing is off, and won't let me connect because I'm not connected to any Networks. My internet and email works fine on the PC and I can still connect to the internet wirelessly on the PS3. I can't think of anything I have done recently that would have changed this! If anyone can help me I would be very grateful.
That is extremely odd. So if I understand correctly, your devices can access the internet, but say they aren't connected to any networks?
I would say to do a reset of the router, as connections are closed when ever you turn your pc off anyway. If that doesn't work than I suggest a hard reset to wipe out any settings and restore it to factory defaults. A button to do that is normally found on the back near the power jack.

Will try resetting the router later today when I have more time, if that doesn't work I feel I may have to reinstall Vista, although I am very tempted to get hold of a copy of XP Pro64, never had any probs with my old machine and XP!
