Hi there, I tried searching for a similar post but couldnt find one;
so here is my problem, I have burnt multiple mdf images using Nero 8 onto a dvd, I burnt these images as normal data dvd,as i intended to open them using a virtual dvd drive such as Daemon Tools.

The burning process completed, however when I went to open one of my images using Daemon Tools the images simply will not open, I then tried to copy one of my images from the dvd to my HDD & an error popped up telling me that the mdf file is encrypted or protected...
However I am sure that the images do not have any kind of protection on them.

I then transferred the images from their original location that is from my computer to an external HDD, tried to open one of the images & I was able to open them without any problems, could there be issues when Nero 8 burns certain files even though they are burnt as Data DVD ?
