Hey all, I am looking for some help. I am moving into a new apartment where I will have a 1 bedroom and a living room as well. I have music and videos on both a 60 gig ACOM Data external harddrive and a western digital 100 Gig harddrive as well, and I am running a HP Laptop with windows XP service pack 2. I am trying to figure out a way to either stream what I have from the external hard drives as well as my laptop to my HDTV, as well as receiver. I know there are a few hardware items out there such as the dlink 750 etc, but I am not sure if I should go that path, or possibly create my own. I have some technology background, and feel comfortable if I were to create something. However, I am looking for advice and some information should I go either route. I am looking to spend if possible 500 - 750.00. Any help would be much appreciated.
